Every two months our Collegiate Ministry hosts an event called, "Snap Night." It's the night that features the areas hottest Christian poets, and cultural talents. BET Sunday Best Winner, Crystal Aikin, recently came out to a Snap Night and ended up "preaching!" Comedian Tracie Davis minstered through laughter and lifted everyone's spirits. Gospel Artist JorDan Armstrong was the shock of the night. He really created an atmosphere of his own and was well received by those attending. The next "Snap Night" will be held on Aug 9 with special guest Gospel Artist and Gospel Dreams Winner, Melinda Watts.

2008 Gospel Dreams Winner, Melinda Watts will worship with Grip in Shreveport on Aug 9 at 7PM. Her new single, "So Good" is in heavy rotation on our GBAND station. She also led Bishop Paul Morton's single, "In Pursuit Of Your Glory" which is very popular on our station as well.

Make plans to attend this night. Melinda is a genuine talent with a passion for Praise and Worship. If you need more information about this event click on Events in the Main Bar at the top of the page.

This will also be our Back To School Worship Night for students and teachers. School supplies for area youth will be given out following the service.

The families all want to go back to The Great Wolf Water Resort in Dallas!! June 28-30, members from Shreveport and San Antonio will meet in Dallas for our Summer Vacation.

Tenacity was taken from one of Pastor Ro's popular sermons. Just as his plays have been successful, this book is very anticipated by his followers. Not only does it give the world a better idea of the drive that our pastor posesses but it will also become the blueprint for every believer to accomplish their ambitions. Gripchurch/Shreveport recently held it's Annual Grip The Beach. Every Summer we host Family & Friends Day on the Lake. After service all the members loaded up their ice coolers and dressed the kids for swimming then we carpooled to Bossier City's Cypress Lake. Click on the Move Forward link to see more photos.

Gospel Artist, Lowell Pye, from the Stellar Award Group Men of Standard led worship at Grip for our Annual Men's Night. He spoke about his personal

Meet Nate and Tasha Morrison...

This young couple is a full of laughter. They are a light to our church family in so many ways. They both are active, involved, studiers, and tithers. Brother Nate volunteers to help with the young boys while Tasha supports every endeavor of the Women's Ministry. They volunteer to pick up members who have no transportation. Both of them participate in the Grip Theatrical Arts Ministry. They are diamonds and they shine everywhere they go. Come worship with us this Sunday.
